DRILLTRONIC is the only integrated drilling and tapping units equipped with an innovative system developed with an articulated arm to give maximum working flexibility.
The structure is designed with a technology that can provide smooth and quick placements, ensuring rigidity and precision during machining operations.
With the new control system VAPS (Volumec ® Assisted Positioning System) with a touch-screen operator interface, easy and intuitive, you can perform drilling and tapping, to set quotas, without the need of manually tracking used with traditional drills.

(VAPS) VAPS
The new control-system VAPS (Volumec ® Assisted Positioning System), is an operator touch-screen interface easy and intuitive with which is possible to make drilling and tapping operations, at pre-established quotas, without any manual tracking as like as traditionals drills
THE PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONS ARE:
- Quick identification of the workpiece position (zero search).
- Assisted positioning of the tool on the work surface with automatic locking at the reached measure.
- Intuitive programming of drilling on more points (X, Y, tool diameter).
- Creation and saving of drilling cycles on parts of every shape.
- Automatic calculation of drilling on flanges based on radius and angle between holes.
- Drilling programming is also possible in AUTO-LEARNING mode.
- Automatic threading by setting pitch and depth..
- Positioning and drilling also with MANUAL mode.
- Import / export drilling programs via. USB
- PC connection via LAN.
(VAPS-Z) AUTOMATIC DRILLING ON Z AXIS
(ONLY FOR VAPS VERSION)
With this control version, furthermore all the VAPS functions, it’s possible to make automatic drills at desired speed and depth.
Main functions:
- Automatic’s tool descending/Ascending at the desire depth (setting on the control).
- Cutting speed regulation (setting on the control).
- Automatic drill with stop to swarf dump.
- Arm descending/Ascending at the desired quota.
- Setting tool on the workpiece.
- Motorization Brushless with encoder for positioning control.
- Maximum quotas sensor.
(LST001D) LUBRICATION SYSTEM
The Drilltronic can be supplied with an automatic lubrication system. With this system it is possible to ensure a correct and constant inflow of lubricating oil to the tool.
The intensity of the flow, the amount and the amplitude of the atomized liquid can be easily adjusted.
(LSP001D) LASER SIGHTING SYSTEM
Thanks to the laser control you can check the precise position of the drilling/tapping point.
(LSR001D) REFRIGERATION SYSTEM
Refrigeration system with recirculation pump for coolant.
(EDS001D) DEPTH SENSOR HIGH-PRECISION
Allows you to drill and tap at the desired deep also in the manual version.
